I am so fed up after 10 years of self study and purchasing of "cookbook astrology computerized programs" to the damage done to this Spiritually oriented practice of Astrology. Like you I believe many so called "professional astrologers should be put in jail! Second, your short report of who you are personally and what happened to you. Samewise, at age 14 I was diagnosed with so many deseases and situation happening on my body that the so called "Doctors" doomed my life to bad health and mysery. All ended by 16 when I literally flip my finger to my doctor and walked away from the office and got in a fight with my parents that I would stop any treatment. WELL DONE for me, I got married very joung and had the most healthy babies delivered completely naturally. (I rejected pain madication). Today I am 40 years old and look like a teen. (better many times when I look around at the new generations of chubby teens). I agree then that a person is not doomed to anything they don't want to accept or believe. I do not have to give thanks to any God or religious practice. I did it myself, pulling out the power of my conscious will! I feel strongly this is your approach by teaching andhelping people. I do believe a whiner can become a winner with the right guidance. The power is inside all of us but that unfortunatelly don't get publicise often. Bless the souls in search so they might find out that all they need is given. They just need to ungrap the gift! And start being what they are meant to be.
